The Global Environmental Team organized the Environmental Technologies Trade Mission to Central Europe, Nov 7-11, 2005. Five US companies participated in the mission. The mission made stops in Warsaw, Budapest and Prague. At each stop, the local Commercial Service office arranged country and market briefings, and one-on-one business appointments. During the week-long mission, participants had a total of 109 scheduled appointments. Each stop concluded with an Ambassadorial reception. US Ambassadors from Poland, Hungary, and the Czech Republic all graciously hosted mission participants and local business and government leaders. All participants expressed their satisfaction with the organization of the mission and the overall quality of the individual business appointments.
