American Water Works Association's annual ACE 06 Conference and Exhibition held from June 11-14, 2006 in San Antonio, TX, provided an ideal platform for the Global Environmental Technology Team to reach several hundred water technology clients through multi-faceted services. These services included Showtime meetings (for 58 companies), an Export Seminar (attracting 60+ companies), Foreign Buyer Matchmaking and Counseling. Twenty-two members of the ET team gathered from nine countries and throughout the United States to provide these client services. 

A pilot foreign buyer matchmaking program included 34 meetings leading to 3 export transactions. The ET Team continues to strengthen its partnership with AWWA and during this event jointly identified additional strategies for improving year-round export-oriented support for AWWA membership.
