The China Education Expo is the officially approved event by the Ministry of Education. In 2005 , 24,000 prospective students attended the Beijing event and 16,000 in Shanghai.
The Education & Training Export Consortium (www.educationsocal.com), a U.S. Department of Commerce MDCP funded program, is working directly with the Chinese event organizer, Fairlinks, to coordinate a stronger U.S. presence and support more U.S. institutions to maximize their marketing and recruitment exposure during the China Education Expo. In addition, the U.S. Education and Training Team will work with our partners at ETEC and U.S. Embassy and U.S. Consulate to help promote your participation at this show. There are different ways of participating, but the most direct approach is to either take a full booth or participate with your catalogs only. Following is a list of planned Services:
- Localization package for booth
- Local staff person (at booth) to provide interpretation (Mandarin/Putonghua – English) optional
- Prime booth location, next to other California institutions
- Opportunity for public presentation at conference
- Additional support in collecting prospective student details and contact info
- Exclusive off-site reception to facilitate educational partnerships (institutions, agents, business)
- Assistance with booth registration
- Catalogue option available (please inquire about details)
