The United States is one of the most generous supporters of EBRD's Technical Cooperation Funds Program. These grants finance consultants working in support of the transition to market economy in the EBRD’s countries of operations. The main focus of U.S. Technical Cooperation funding has been to support the development of micro, small, and medium sized enterprises through the U.S. EBRD SME Facility.
To date, the United States has provided over $100 million in Technical Cooperation grant funds as detailed below.

The U.S. Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) fund has provided a great deal of assistance in project preparation for infrastructure operations. USAID funds have focused on municipal infrastructure, legal transition, small enterprise support, and warehouse receipts programs.
