The National Restaurant Association, Hotel-Motel Show is the largest foodservice and hospitality trade show in the Western Hemisphere. The show offers the largest display of food technology products. By attending NRA Show 2009, you will efficiently and cost-effectively find the new products, ideas, information and contacts you need to solve today’s restaurant and foodservice industry challenges.

A.  It is sponsored and managed by the National Restaurant Association. Attendance is open to all individuals related to the foodservice and hotel industries. The NRA welcomes visitors from around the world. Over 100 countries participated in the 2008 show representing 4,801 international attendees. Total attendees registered came to 71,367 and total exhibitors reached 2,229.

B. The National Restaurant Association Restaurant Hotel-Motel show will feature over
2,000 exhibitors.  The net exhibit space will be over 600,000 square feet. Both the exhibit floor and conference portion will open Saturday May 16, 2009. It will be held at McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois, USA.

The Commercial Section here at the U.S. Embassy Nairobi will lead an official delegation to the event in May, 2009 at a fee of $3500 per participant.   You will join the official Embassy delegation and we will:

• Arrange VISA appointments for delegation members
• Register members for the event
• Give discounted airfare for a roundtrip to Chicago, Illinois
• Arrange hotel accommodation for 4 nights in Chicago including airport transfer & breakfast

To register for the event, you will pay a non-refundable cash deposit of $500 on or before March 15,2009 to secure the hotel and airline bookings.  The balance of $3000 must be settled by April 15, 2009 in form of an international bankers’ check payable at any bank in the U.S. and made out to International Trade Administration
