The Farnborough International Airshow (FIA) takes place in July 2008, and as one of the largest aviation events outside the U.S. this year, it represents a major opportunity for U.S. exporters. Around 1,500 exhibitors and over 140,000 trade visitors attended the last show, in 2006, and this promises to be an even busier year. There will be a large U.S. Pavilion at FIA, certified by the U.S. Department of Commerce and extending through Halls 2, 3 and 4. The U.S. Commercial Service will host a business information office in the Pavilion along with several programs for U.S. companies, featuring aerospace specialists from our offices throughout Europe.

Cosmoprof Bologna is one of the world’s leading trade shows in the beauty sector with its comprehensive international beauty products ranging from cosmetics, perfumery and toiletries to professional skin and hair salon products and equipment, packaging, raw materials, machinery, private label and contract manufacturing. Over 145,300 buyers attended last year’s show of which 36,359 were foreign visitors. The show featured 2.176 exhibitors, including 85 from the U.S.
