The Cyprus Investment Promotion Agency (CIPA): This non-profit, private limited company (solely owned by the Government of Cyprus) will contribute dynamically and with flexibility to the effective promotion of Cyprus as an international investment and business center. CIPA has a threefold mandate: to actively attract foreign direct investment, to advocate and facilitate reform in the business environment of Cyprus, and to provide aftercare services to investors. CIPA, with implementation of this mandate, aims to position Cyprus "on the radar screen" of businesses and investors worldwide and to emphasize its competitiveness as a regional hub for a vast range of sectors.
