Event Summary:
China International Sporting Goods Show (the SportShow), to be sponsored by China General Administration of Sport (China’s sport ministry) and China Sporting Goods Federation, is the largest and most professional trade show for sporting goods industry in China as well as in the Asia-Pacific region.
The SportShow 2005 had an exhibition space of about 100,000㎡ attracting over 1000 exhibitors and 50,000 buyers from home and abroad. The SportShow 2006 will include a U.S. Pavilion, showcasing state-of-the-art American products and services in the sporting goods industry. The U.S. Pavilion will offer prospective U.S. exhibitors the following services: streamlined booth arrangements, market entry counseling and logistics liaison with Chinese organizers, on-site show directories that include US exhibitors’ brief introduction for interested Chinese buyers.
China’s sporting goods market is very promising especially given the Changchun 2007 Asian Winter Games and the Beijing 2008 Olympic Games. Demand for high quality sporiting products is growing rapidly. We invite interested US companies to exhibite at this show and tap into the huge Chinese market.
