Event Summary:

The Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute (ARI) and the U.S. Commercial Service in Beijing organized a U.S. Pavilion at China Refrigeration 2005 (April 12-14). China Refrigeration 2005 obtained Certified Trade Fair status, and has become the one of the most significant shows in China for this sector. In all, eighteen American companies exhibited at the U.S. Pavilion.

Overall, the show was a big success, as evidenced by 4 confirmed export success stories, and feedback received from exhibitors on the floor. All of the U.S. companies reported either potential sales or receipt of great trade leads. Commercial Specialist Pingping Xie worked with U.S. exhibitors during the entire show and provided matchmaking assistance and market counseling service on the floor as well as at the ARI-hosted reception.

FCS received highest scores on the support of the FCS’s service from all the returned surveys. As Mr. Nadiem Umar from Muller Industries Inc. commented: “ China Refrigeration 2005 is a productive show. It was very beneficial to have U.S.Commercial Service in the exhibition.”
