Event Summary:

Integrated Systems China 2006 was held from April 12 –14, 2006 at the Shanghai Everbright Convention & Exhibition Center. It is one of China’s largest shows in the audiovisual technologies, projection technologies, display equipment, HDTV and data conferencing equipment sectors. Approximately ten U.S. companies participated in the show.

FCS Shanghai had an information booth manned by Commercial Specialists Lisa Tang, Scott Yao and Jerry Qian for three full days. Commercial Specialist Jane Shen helped to recruit one U.S. company, Electrosonic, whom Jane had previously met during a trade event. Electrosonic occupied two booths next to the FCS booth. Commercial Officer Darrel Ching and Commercial Specialist Lisa Tang walked the show and provided on-site briefings to all U.S. participants. FCS Shanghai hosted an audiovisual seminar during the show entitled “China’s Audiovisual Market: Opportunities & Challenges for U.S. Exporters.” Approximately 30 people from U.S. exhibitors, distributors, industrial associations and law firms attended the seminar. CO Darrel Ching made opening remarks and moderated the seminar.
