Lynn Orphan, President-elect of Water Environment Federation, and Eric Zheng, Principal Commercial Officer of CS Guangzhou, attended Water, Wastewater &Water Treatment China 2004. Held during March 10-13, 2004 in Guangzhou, the water show is one of the most important trade shows in China that focus on water treatment equipment. Six U.S. companies participated in this year’s show such as Goulds Pumps, ITT Flygt Pump, Hach, and GSS Fiberglass. In addition, CS Guangzhou ran a booth to display catalogues from four U.S. firms including J&smp;Y International Enterprise, Catalyx Technologies, ITT Flygt, and Headworks. 10 other types of materials related to U.S. environmental products were also displayed. The CS booth was well attended. CS Guangzhou received many inquiries from Chinese customers about products displayed at the show. Some visiting U.S. companies also showed a great interest in taking advantage of the CS booth in future events to promote their products. Ms. Orphan of Water Environment Federation, gave a presentation on business practices in environmental projects at a conference organized by the trade show.
