U.S. Greenbuilding Standards Seminar and Pavilion, March 29-31, 2010

CS Beijing will organize a U.S. Pavilion and Green Building Standards Seminar at the 6th International Conference on Intelligent Green and Energy Efficient Building & New Technologies and Products Expo to promote American energy efficient construction, building materials, products and services to China’s emerging construction market. The event will be held March 29-31, 2010 at the Beijing International Conference Center.

The 36 square meter booth will focus on improving the energy efficiency of buildings in China and will showcase products, services and new technologies in this field. The Green Building Standards Seminar will be co-organized by the U.S. Department of Commerce, U.S. Department of Energy, U.S .Trade Development Agency, U.S. Green Building Council, the Energy Cooperation Program, and the Chinese Ministry of Housing & Urban-Rural Development. Ten major U.S. companies will participate in these two events. They are : Oshkosh, UTC, Honeywell, Uni-solar, GE, Ownes Corning, AECOM, Dupont, AES, First Solar, and Ingersoll Rand.

The International Energy Efficiency & Zero Energy Building Envelope Conference will be held on March 31-April 1st, 2010 at Beijing Nikko New Century Hotel.

This event will be co-organized by the U.S. Department of Energy, U.S. Department of Commerce, National Fenestration Rating Council, and it is supported by Asia Pacific Partner (APP) countries, the Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development, China Architecture Design and Research Group, and the China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce. Delegates and manufacturers from the APPcountries including, Australia, Canada, China, India, Japan, South Korea, and USA, will be participating in the conference. The conference objective is to increase awareness of key stake holders about the available energy efficiency envelope technologies to build Zero energy efficient buildings.

The conference will showcase a unique model home displaying technologies that achieve ZERO energy use. Interested manufacturers will also have the opportunity to display their products.
