Power generation, transmission, and distribution
Event Summary: Key suppliers in the power generation, transmission and distribution markets, including Alstom, Bechtel, Doosan, Pratt & Whitney and Siemens, will gather for the first ever “China Power” August 10-11. During the two-day event a strategic and technical conference will run in parallel with a comprehensive exhibition of equipment and services. Content for this high-level conference is being guided by China Power’s Advisory Committee, which is made up of key industry influencers and decision makers such as representatives from the State Grid Corporation of China, the Independent Power Producers Forum, China Development Bank, China National Development Reforms Commission, GE Energy and Siemens. With the Chinese economy growing at an annual rate approaching 10 per cent, government planners project demand for electricity to more than double in the next 15 years, China Power is an unprecedented opportunity for power suppliers to meet the government, management and engineering leaders who will be the decision-makers in building over 144 power plants now under construction or on the drawing boards in China. FCS will have an additional booth for one-on-one counseling and catalog distribution.
China Power has been designated as a Certified Trade Fair by the U.S.Department of Commerce. This year's U.S. Pavilion will contain 19 booths, showcasing American products & services in this sector.
