Event Summary: CHINALIGHT 2005 is one of China's largest and most respected trade shows with approximately 20,000 sq. meters of floor space and over 300 participating companies. The products featured in this exhibition include various types of light sources, luminaries and ornaments, and other lighting accessories and equipment. The show is sponsored by China's major lighting and illumination societies and features forums, lectures and seminars which discuss current topics of interest to the lighting industry. The show attracts retailers, wholesalers, importers/exporters, architectural designers, contractors, engineers, and government experts and authorities in the lighting field. This well-attended event offers U.S. companies access to good business opportunities in a trade show setting. Statistics collected from the previous show indicate that 19% of the exhibitors gained orders while 70% found cooperation partners or reached an agreement of intent.
