The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) is building a new headquarters, valued at over $1 billion, in Brussels, Belgium. In August of 2002, NATO member states signed an agreement to build this new headquarters. One contract will be awarded for the entire project, with sub-contracts following. Construction is likely to take 50 months to complete.
