SEMINAR – FEBRUARY 4, 2010 AT THE AMERICAN THEATER (LAKEN, Brussels)

The Council of American States in Europe (CASE) and the U.S. Department of Commerce have organized this seminar to inform Belgian companies about investment and business opportunities in the United States.  The event is scheduled for Thursday, February 4, 2010 at the American Theater Building* (Laken, Brussels).  This special program is formatted as a roadshow, and it will also be offered in Paris and Milan.

High-profile speakers will address practical aspects of doing business such as cultural differences, legal technicalities, tax information, visa preparation, location issues, and investment incentives.  Successful entrepreneurs and specialists will provide information on business opportunities in the United States and share their experiences in individual workshops in biotechnology, information technology for financial services, clean energy/green technology, and logistics/transportation technology. 

A speed-networking reception will follow the seminar with various specialists and U.S. state representatives available to individually discuss your business interests in the United States.   The event will conclude with a luncheon and keynote remarks from the Ambassador of the United States Howard W. Gutman.
