The AsiaNow ICT Team, for the fourth-year running, came out in full force at NAB 2008 with six specialists attending the event held in Las Vegas from April 14-17, 2008.  Six specialists from Indonesia, Korea, Philippines, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam recruited 235 delegates.  The delegation members comprise high-level government officials, broadcast companies and distributors, system integrators and resellers. 

The event was again a great team effort integrating the resources of the Global ICT Team, the AsiaNow ICT Team and the show organizer.  The NAB program for the AsiaNow ICT team members included an industry training session conducted by NAB; networking with U.S. companies at the Global Matchmaker Reception; 65 one-on-one Showtime appointments with U.S companies who were exhibitors at the show. 

Immediately following NAB, Alex Choi from CS Seoul proceeded to San Jose for a day of site visits to San Jose State University, Face Book, U.S. Extension, Santa Cruz University of Devry, and Semi Fab. TS Chris Damm organized the program in San Jose, TS Gabriela Zelaya and TS Karl Kailing helped with the meeting arrangements.  Face Book subscribed a BFS as a direct result of the meeting.

The AsiaNow ICT Team efforts at NAB 2008 are epected to yield many new clients, significant revenue generation and dozens of success stories over the next 24 months for both the AsiaNow and the Global ICT Teams.
