Commercial Service Shanghai supported a successful U.S. Education Fair for ten U.S. universities, hosted by the International Student Network (ISN) on March 9th. Commercial Service Shanghai's SCS Yu-Chien Chen organized four events on behalf of ISN:

1. an Overseas Student Recruitment Agent Fair attended by over 75 agents from East China,
2. an Export Achievement Award Ceremony for four of the U.S. Universities, which was presented by PCO Jonathan Heimer and PAS Section Chief Jennifer Galt,
3. a well-received visa briefing with an officer from the Consular Section attended by the delegation and 120 local parents and students, and 4) a Parent/Student Fair attended by over 400 people.

This is the second straight year that CS Shanghai has assisted ISN in arranging an U.S. Education Fair. Last year's event recruited over 30 students to the participating U.S. schools. During this year's event, University delegates remarked to CS Shanghai that they were very happy with the event and one U.S. university informed ISN that they had already conditionally accepted two Chinese students that they had interviewed during the education fair.
