The Arizona U.S. Export Assistance Center’s BORDER TRADE INITIATIVE invites you to participate in SELLING TO MEXICO'S MAQUILADORAS 101, a one-day program designed to prepare your company to develop sales in Mexico’s large manufacturing sector on September 9, 2008. SELLING TO MEXICO'S MAQUILADORAS 101 includes:
- Onsite briefings from Mexican Immigration and Customs about visas and the process of clearing U.S. goods;
- Tours of Nogales, Sonora’s two largest maquiladora shelter plant operations;
- Industry-focused presentations addressing maquiladora fundamentals such as the competitive environment, purchasing decisions, quality, logistics, and more.
- Roundtrip bus transportation from Phoenix and Tucson to Nogales, Sonora; and,
- Lunch.
The cost to participate in SELLING TO MEXICO'S MAQUILADORAS 101 is $125 per person.
