The Arizona District Export Council, in cooperation with the Phoenix Council on Foreign Relations (PCFR), is proud to recognize outstanding efforts in international business development by Arizona companies. On September 22nd, we have invited Governor Jan Brewer to present the Excellence in International Business award at the PCFR International State of the State luncheon.

Please take the time to nominate an Arizona company that has distinguished itself by strong export sales growth, research and development collaboration with overseas partners, attraction of foreign investment, job creation as a result of international activities, or another measure of global success. Nominations for small- to medium-sized companies   (500 employees or less) that have continued to prosper and expand internationally in spite of the economic downturn are particularly welcome.

Nominations will be accepted online until close of business on Friday, September 4th, 2009 and reviewed by the District Export Council/PCFR’s awards committee. The winner will be informed no later than September 16th.
