Foreign Government Tenders (FGTs)

The Foreign Government Tender report augments our series of regular monthly reports, giving U.S. exporters advance information about Asian government tenders. The focus of these reports is the national procurements initiated both in advance, as well as ongoing ADB procurement and recruitment of consultants for projects financed by the ADB.

FGT January 2009

Ninety procurement notices coming from Afghanistan, Armenia, Bangladesh, Cambodia, China, Cook Islands, Fiji, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Kiribati, Kyrgyz, Mongolia, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Uzbekistan and Vietnam. This report has 152 procurement notices, mostly coming from the energy sector.  Other sectors included are agriculture and natural resources, education, environment, health, industry and finance and transportation and communications.  The Power Distribution Enhancement Investment Program in Pakistan has the most number of notices for various electrical equipment and services.  Click here.

This report contains 92 procurement notices from 22 countries in Asia and the Pacific.   China, with 14 notices under environment, industry and finance as well as transportation and communications sectors,  has the most number of procurement notices.  The $ 100 million Jilin Urban Environmental Improvement Project  will require transport vehicles and passenger cars.  Click here.

This report contains 131 procurement notices from 25 countries in Asia and the Pacific, with the bulk coming from energy and environment sectors. One project included is the $100 million Integrated  Ecosystem and Water Resources Management in the Baiyangdiang Basin Project in China, which will procure consulting services, various  goods and services for sewerage treatment.  Click here.
